Anna Katharina Zeitler – If you can dream it, you can do it
In her work If you can dream it, you can do it, Anna Katharina Zeitler deals with the feeling of being constantly on the move and the desire to arrive. Her images reveal new realities, which are created when the dream world merges with the real world. She uses images as metaphors to describe ostensibly intermediate states as constants. In concentrated and mysterious individual images, the photographer takes the viewer on a journey without a concrete beginning, middle, or end. On this poetic journey, the artist merges the autobiographical and the fictional, thus creating a flow of images as a dream world of sorts. Anna Katharina Zeitler studied Photography at the Academy of Photographic Design in Munich, followed by extended work stays and fellowships in New York, Chile, Spain, and India. Her photographs have won international awards and have been exhibited worldwide in institutions for contemporary photography.
