Julia Bünnagel is a cross-media sculptor, sound performer and installation artist. Her genre-bending works include sculptures, large-scale modular installations, sound works, and typefaces. Physically working with and creating material is always the basis for her work, whether in sound, typography, or installation. She calls her artistic work "KlangBildHauerei", because her sculptural and physical actions are always audible and visible.

The catalog provides an insight into the complexity of her artistic work. It was published on the occasion of the awarding of the Luise-Straus-Prize of the LVR and the associated exhibition KLANG BILD HAUEREI at the LVR-LandesMuseum Bonn.
