Since the mid-1940s, the sculptures and drawings of Andreu Alfaro (born 1929) have stood at the forefront of Spanish modernism. His Matador Artist’s Portfolio consists of 17 geometric drawings derived from four series created during the 1980s and 90s, plus one gouache painting from the 1960s.
