In search of a hidden history, the artists Feli & Pepita explore the island of Miyako-Jima, at the end of Japan. Documentarily and poetically their work reveals a surreal reality packed with contradictions and brings a new perspective onto the characteristics of Japanese life between Pacific paradise and Brutalism architecture. Along the way they discover a wonderful symbol of German-Japanese friendship: a medieval German castle beneath a subtropical sky.
