"The Far Flowered Shore" allows an intimate insight into the Japanese culture in the time of the cherry blossom season, a time that allows associations with happiness, but also evanescence and Fukushima. This artist book, which was posthumous designed this year in Tokyo, shows the series ?Hanami?, which was produced by Sascha Weidner while staying at Villa Kamogawa in Kyoto 2013. The publication is supplemented with texts by the American poet Bill Berkson as well as centuries-old Japanese Tanka.
