Taiji Matsue (*1963) is an internationally renowned japanese photographer.
In his work, Matsue focuses on grown as well as built landscapes, which he is in search of throughout the world. He is especially fascinated by the surface of the earth, with its various natural or man-made structures. His contrasted black and white photos show in an almost analytical, very plain way, the diversity of manifestations of the earth.
